This follows Level 1 Chicago Blues and/or Level 2 “Minis” are memorized. This CORE Boogie Instrumental is important because the four-note riff is one of the most recognizable in blues that all players should know. It is also an artist study of Big Walter “Shakey” Horton.
This “X” version combines the basic version and the “S” version, giving it an extra chorus, making it 5 choruses long. The goal of this Level 2x instrumental is to continue to develop the fundamental skills acquired in the Level 1 and Level 2 “mini” songs, with an added harp solo. I suggest 4 months of experience before attempting this.
Remember, the CORE Boogie Instrumentals are important because its four-note riff is one of the most recognizable in blues that all players should know.
